The Mission Chair is a handcrafted furniture studio located in Atlanta, Georgia. My wife and I, Atlanta residents of the past 14 years, are the owners.We also specialize in contemporary designs that not only draw inspiration from the past, but that are unique to the craftsman that builds them today. Each piece is made by hand with painstaking time and labor by artists who take great pride in their work. Look very closely and you will see differences in materials, construction, joinery, and finishes which separate overpriced, poorly made furniture from quality handmade heirloom furniture. We will be glad to discuss with you the materials, construction techniques, and finish details for any piece in the studio.

Currently, The Mission Chair represents more than 50 artists, but we are always looking for new talent. We welcome your input if you know of artists or craftsmen whose work would fit in the studio.
